I love a good crock pot recipe, they typically wind up becoming my hyper fixation favorite meals until I make them so much I cant eat them any more- This recipe however? Feels so homey and classic and warm that I don't know if I will ever get tired of it, or get tired of how simple and CHEAP it is to make- The prices I use are pulled from my local Walmart here in South Texas in September 2025 so depending on when and where you read this prices may vary.

Beef, Egg Noodles, Gravy while beyond simple ingredients when you combine them together you get a meal that tastes like Grandma made it....even if your Grandma couldn't boil water.

Try it out, Don't have one of the ingredients I used? Substitute it, it most likely won't affect the taste any and it makes it an all you dish.

Directions-

  1. Line Your Crockpot- The person who does the dishes in your HH will thank you

  2. Add Stew Meat and seasonings of your choice , Gravy Mix and Onion Soup Mix

  3. Add Broth (Beef. Chicken , Vegetable or even water will work here use what you have) and Stir - Depending on how much sauce you want at the end you may want to add more liquid

  4. Cook on High 4-6 Hours or Low for 6-8 hours

  5. About an hour before serving boil water and cook egg noodles to an overly Al Dente texture, they will finish cooking in the crockpot

  6. Once noodles are cooked add to your crockpot and stir- This is the point where you realize you have probably made too many noodles

  7. Let cook another 10 -15 minutes until noodles are desired texture

  8. Serve with buttered bread

I didn't take any pictures while I was cooking this because I wasn't really sure if I was going to post it since it has been so long since I've actually updated this food blog but I want to get back into this and you gotta start somewhere- This picture is actually of the leftovers I ate for lunch the next day <3 but like I said if you want more of a "Gravy" you will need to add more broth/water to your crockpot because the noodles soak it up.

As Always Remember to Make Good Choices, Be Kind and Wash YOUR HANDS!

Happy Cooking!

Edit To Add- This meal was good for leftovers 2 days later still- I wouldn't test 3 days unless you made yours really soupy/ with lots of gravy it would be to dry in my opinion
